Start with these nine, then count the ones that fit your life.
- Fast, free delivery on eligible items, including Same-Day and One-Day options in eligible areas.
- Prime Video movies, series, Amazon Originals, and selected live sports.
- Amazon Music benefits, including selected music and podcasts.
- Prime Reading, First Reads, and eligible digital reading options.
- Prime-only deals and member shopping events.
- Grubhub+ benefits for eligible members.
- Fuel savings at participating U.S. stations, which need a separate activation step.
- Unlimited photo storage with Amazon Photos.
- Prescription savings and Amazon Pharmacy options.
Availability depends on your location, account, and current Amazon terms. A long benefits list is not automatically a good value. The important question is what you will use regularly.
A benefit that needs activation
Fuel savings do not turn on automatically.
Amazon currently says Prime members can save 10 cents per gallon at more than 7,500 participating U.S. locations after linking Prime to a free earnify account.
Worth checking
It may fit you if...
- You order eligible items from Amazon regularly.
- You expect to use Prime Video or other included benefits.
- The delivery savings or time saved justify the membership cost.
Before you start
Check discounted options.
Eligible young adults ages 18 to 24 and higher education students can currently try Prime for Young Adults for six months at $0, then Amazon lists $7.49 per month or $69 per year. Qualifying government-assistance recipients and income-verified customers can currently try Prime Access for 30 days, then Amazon lists $6.99 per month. Confirm current eligibility and renewal terms before joining.
